Welcome!!! Why is it important to do the will of God? According to Romans 12:1-2, we should offer ourselves as living sacrifices and not conform to the world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind and therefore know what God's will is. The intent here is to be constantly in the scripture, continually renewing our mind. But more basic than that is in Proverbs 16:25, which says that man's way leads to death and there is another way which leads to life. Doing the will of God leads to life. A beautiful life in Him, in which, while our earthly bodies are every moment decaying the spiritual body is getting strong. If we do His will, follow Him, love our fellow man, and walk as Christ does then we will have that life. Read the devotionals on this site and see what God's will is for all of us.
